Out for a spring ride with ma bestie

My family and I are traveling Australia in our caravan and this shot was taken at the Chinamans hat lookout in the Innes National park in South Australia!

Family time is always precious. Even though We’re getting older and we’ve chosen different paths, our bond has never wavered 

It being a Sunday, I decided to go for a photo walk at one of our local beaches. The beach was full of people and I noticed that they were two dogs that were running around with full of energy and were just being playful. I realized that they could turn out to be interesting subjects. I wanted to make a frame where only the two dogs were in it with no individuals. So I waited until the perfect moment. I didn't realize that I have made the frame that I was after, until I got the scans back. I am just happy with the fact, that I was able to freeze this moment. It outlines their character and how friendly they are. This photograph was made on Kodak portra 400 and the camera used was Pentax K1000.

Visiting Australia when I was 22! This was my first trip with my (now) husband and we’ve continued to travel over the last 14 years! 

To appreciate the view with your heart but not the camera

What a privilege it is to be the mother of boys.  Boys who will grow up respecting, loving and honoring women.  Treating them as equals.  Listening, truly listening, to what they have to say.  Taking the word “no” for exactly that— a no.  Valuing the women that they encounter as they go through life.

I promise I’m raising boys who you can trust your girls to be around and be respected by.

Perfect way to cool down in this Queensland heat

On the beaches of Zihuatanejo in Guerrero state there is an activity that consists of being lifted by a boat-driven parachute and allows you to see the beautiful views of Zihuatanejo. But before they go up, the workers have to lift the parachute in the air so that it is ready to make the trip. Once I took the picture of the moment one of them approached me and said "from above it looks better!" But I reject the invitation for fear of losing my camera several feet high.

The camera is an Olympus Infinity Zoom 105 and the film is Kodak Color Plus 200

I've always wanted to visit this interesting cave next to Timber Beach and I finally did.

Late February in San Diego, California we were blessed with a week of just the most absolute primetime weather. Mid 70s, crystal clear skies with a light breeze. Every sunset shoot was a dream that week. Tourmaline beach will always a have soft spot for my sunset shoots. This photo captures it all. Thank you Kodak Moments for the feature!

Meet Pippin.  She is a fantastic little dog who fills our lives with love and Kodak Moments.  Here she is running full speed back to me with a huge smile, because she knows I have tasty treats in my pocket.

On a windy day.

A minute to reflect after a long day’s hike in the Coast Mountains of Canada. There’s nowhere else with lakes quite so turquoise from the glacial silt! Panorama Ridge, B.C. 

It was born from the idea that you do not occupy anyone else, but your self.

We met when I took a gap year in college and knew we wanted to be together. As I finished school and we were making our plans, COVID hit, so we didn’t see each other for 1 year and 8 months. It was really hard, but worth the wait! On December 14th, 2020, after one of the worst years ever, we got married and captured the beauty of our day in the Mabira Forrest in Jinja, Uganda.

This rainbow popped out of a rainstorm moving our way while on a hike. Racing against time to get the shot before I got drenched, I was able to capture this moment using Kodak Portra 160 film. 

The wind was blowing with 26 m/s but I could help my self but crawl out on the ledge, I love hiking and one of the thrills is about going straight to the edge! 

When you are trying to take a perfect picture, but nature reminds you that life happens when you let it go. Create your moments and enjoy them to the fullest. BE YOU

When life is getting a bit dull get out to the great outdoors and find that inner child in you. My daughter and I went to Ben Crom Dam, in the Mourne Mountains, for a bike ride in the rain!! Many people turned when they arrived at this flood in the road. We took it as an opportunity for some fun!!
