Someone was super excited to get her first ever surfboard! 

My best friends, a married couple who love each other dearly. Andrew has been away and Liella misses him so much. I was at the right place at the right time when I saw them being ‘cuddly’, luckily I had my Nikon EM in my hand loaded with P3200 TMAX and promptly captured this moment. Such moment I am blessed to witness and to capture it flawless in film is just the icing on the cake.

In this moment my wife Xue and friend Kendra came by to visit me on site during a mural production in Wynwood, Miami. Kendra captured the sweet moment of us saying “bye, see you later at home” with a kiss.

Last week was a tough one. But I’m so grateful I got to spend some time with the fam bam. My God daughter turned 11 and we bought her a skateboard. She is so smart , respectful and fearless. I hope the gift gives her the drive to explore the world and herself. There is something inspirational about falling down and getting back up again.

I've never met a cat who loved to cuddle as much as this boy...and he loves his girl's cuddles the best!

When I was strolling highland park in the fall, I saw this couple sitting on a bench in total admiration for each other while enjoying the brisk air and warm sunset. One of my favorite songs instantly came to mind, “Someone To Watch Over Me” by Ella Fitzgerald. I wanted to capture that pure moment of love and embrace while it lasted. To her heart, he carried the key.

Since COVID, my daughter is glued to my hip for everything. Working, cooking, working out, etc. She made a comment about wanting to ride the bike with me, so I gifted her a kids stationary bike for her birthday. She loves it and loves “riding with mommy!” It makes workouts more enjoyable for both of us, and she motivates me to workout now even when I don’t feel like it!

Everyone was just sitting around after the cake had been done.and my friend just starting snapping a bunch of photos and said something really funny at the same.time lol.

Nothing can be compared to the feeling that I had when those standing pillars stood in front of me...Zhangjiajie National Park in China should be the top of every bucket list.?

This is Scooby - a cat I met on a photo walk through Richmond. His collar says he needs special medication, and he was very friendly. I thought such a special cat deserved a special portrait.

Easter has come and gone but the memories will warm our hearts forever. Here we are enjoying a stunning sunset at Birdrock Beach on the coast of Victoria. 

After a whole day of skating between spots, me and my mate Toby rolled up to the final spot. Toby had that this trick (back foot impossible) on his mind all day, he tried for about an hour, but didn’t manage to land it. For one of the final tries I decided to shoot a frame on my Olympus OM-30, and Kodak ultramax 400. 

The moment that she realised the baby was here to stay.

Even when traveling, you have several milestones. At this moment, we celebrated our opportunity to stay in Australia for another year. We had to do at least 3 months of farm work to qualify for a second year Visa.

On a trip to Big Bear Lake in Southern California, my friends and I stumbled across this very spot. It was a moment that had to be captured.

Sena is an individual who exudes excellence, and I don't just mean in the usual sense of the word. As black people, our worth is often attached to how much we can succeed in life despite our disadvantages. What makes Sena excellent is the way he makes others feel. He's charismatic, kind, and multi-faceted. He's a theatre nerd, an incredible dancer, and he loves to hang. He's also a huge anime fan ?.

It's not a new thing for black photographers to capture black people, and that's why I want to go further. I want to capture black people who might have felt "othered" at some point in their lives. Maybe they didn't quite fit into spaces society said they "should" have. Maybe they have tastes that are popular now that weren't popular when they were growing up (see previous paragraph for anime ?).
