Akasha, a three-year-old Bengal tiger, is the world's only female underwater diving tiger and resides at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif. I was asked to take some new photos of the tigers swimming underwater and by chance the lighting and conditions were just right. I took this image in May, 2011 and it has proven to be quite popular.
