Early in the morning when my daughter woke up she went to the living room and saw me standing by the window. The first thing she asked me to do is hug her and the take a selfie of us together. It made my day.

During college there was a beautiful snow fall, so a couple of friends and I went outside to enjoy. My friend captured this snowflake and I love remembering the joy of playing in the snow.

I was at my mother in laws and she had just finished the tree and this was the first time Amelia had seen it. A true classic moment

My step son Ashton was 13 years old and played in a tournament at Sports at the Beach in Delaware. It was the semi final game. It was suppose to be 7 innings, but because they remained tied went 10 innings. We were losing 9-2 when he came in to pitch the 2nd inning. He pitched 9 innings and started the last inning with a runner already placed on 2nd base. It was the hottest game he had ever pitched and came out with the win 11-10.Immediately after, every emotion he had built up the entire game came pouring out when he was able to embrace his father and finally breathe. 

I bought her some makeup for Christmas. One day, before shopping, she wanted to do her own makeup, so I let her have fun and do her thing. Once she was done we went on our way; she has a brave soul. Of course we got looks but the best thing was strangers telling her how beautiful she is.

Exactly 12 hours ago, we were enjoying our very first morning together, alone, in our new home. It was raining, and he “watered” flowers and “washed” his hands through the open window. So very happy; this moment was all I ever imagined, and all I could ever have hoped for. Yet tonight, I’m in my bed with a feverish little boy resting on my chest. While a fever is not at all a big deal, we never want to see our children unwell. Just goes to show how things can sometimes change in an instant. It’s so important to be grateful for all that we have, always. To push the trivial things aside and simply recognize all that truly matters.

The evil queen

On a fall Sunday morning I took my 4 year old to the local park to try his hand with a fishing pole.  In 5 minutes he had his first catch!

 I babysit for my grandchildren Edgar and Maya three times a week they are my joy. We have so much fun together. You’re always playing games watching cartoon movies together coloring they keep me going day after day and it makes me feel so young. There’s nothing like grandchildren, they are the best. 

I think it's safe to say they're #KindaWeirdMoments.

My youngest son loves to joke and he’s great at making me laugh. Here we’re on a mother/son vacation and he’s making a face without me knowing it since he’s so excited to be on vacation. 

Under the rocks are snails and we can fills our pockets and let them go one by one all day in a brand new place.
