It was a busy Friday Night in Sufers Paradise, the popular tourist destination on Australia's Gold Coast. I was lucky enough to capture this image of the Q1 building (The Southern Hemispheres tallest residential building) on a night with low cloud which refelcted the city lights. Because the building is so tall, I had to set the tripod as close to the ground as I could, which meant lying on the ground and climbing under the camera. This picture was taken at Kom-Ombu Temple, Egypt. When we reached the temple, the sun was already set but not totally dark. I was disappointed because there was not enough light for a decent picture. Before we left the lights were suddenly turned on and I got this picture. The photographer at the lower right hand corner made the pillars look even more magnificent. This is a composite of over 30 photos, all taken in succession on September 20, 2006, in the Buchanan Theatre, Buchanan, VA. This is a self-portrait (yes, all of those people are me) that was inspired by a Self-Portrait challenge on DPChallenge.com. By far this is the most complicated photograph I've setup, taken, and edited. I'm so pleased with the outcome too.
