I've been attending Temecula's annual balloon & wine festival for five years to photograph the hot air balloons during their early morning launches. This year, I was photographing the festival from the air, inside a basket, and as I was waiting for my balloon to be ready for flight, I caught sight of the center balloon gliding between two others. This was taken June 2, 2012 in Sage, California. With the alignment of the three balloons, I thought this was a creative, once-in-a-lifetime composition. It may sound silly, but the day i took this picture was a beautiful day. I went with my friends to Punta del Este, and we skipped stones in a lake. This was one of my first lightning pictures, and this one made a huge blast, and the lightning was so bright that all the sky became whyte and i did not see it until i saw the picture. It was taken outside my house in Antanhol, Coimbra, on May 17th 2011 not the best location for this kind of pictures, but i think that it turned out to be a great picture.
