This past December, Toronto, ON, Canada had the worst ice storm I have seen in the over 50 years I've lived here. The storm caused massive damage to the city's tree canopy, but it also brought some real beauty--and that beauty is what I tried to capture in this photo. 1. Because I was using my favourite film: Kodak Tri-X 35mm, shooting from the hip. And it's a cool picture. 2. I took it today, November 9th 2013, around 14:30. 3. It reminds me of the 1960s New York. Has a timeless sort of feel to it. Definitely cannot hear the crazy perfume shop man wailing his drivel just to the left of the frame!
